Auditions for Festival Chorus- Peter Nero and the Philly Pops- Holiday POPS!
Auditions to sing with the Festival Chorus will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from 5pm-9pm at the Merriam Theater Philadelphia Building located at 250 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102, Room #506.  All singers auditioning must prepare 16 measures of a song in any style that highlights their voice.  An accompanist will be provided.  Sight singing is also required.
 
The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
 
Tuesday, October 19, 7-10pm
Tuesday, October 26, 7-10pm
Tuesday, November 2, 7-10pm
Tuesday, November 9, 7-10pm
Tuesday, November 16, 7-10pm
Tuesday, November 23, 7-10pm
Tuesday, November 30, 7-10pm
 
All Rehearsals will be held at St. Luke and the Epiphany Church located at 330 South 13th Street

Saturday, December 18, 2:30-5:30pm
Sunday, December 19, 7:30-10:30pm
Tuesday, December 21, 7:30-10:30pm
Wednesday, December 22, 7:30-10:30pm
 
*Please note that this is a VOLUNTEER Chorus.  All Concerts will be held at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts located at 260 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 (215) 670-2300
 
Festival Chorus will be led by Jeffrey Kern, Head of the Vocal Division at University of the Arts Philadelphia, as well as conductor of the Voices of The POPS, a 12-voice professional group that sings with Peter Nero and The Philly POPS!
